Ecohouse Clontarf Project
Ecohouse Projects • 2017
Ecohouse in partnership with Ryan Lamb Architects are currently involved in a passive build domestic dwelling in Clontarf, just north of the city centre. This design is in keeping with its newly created neighbours which are two storey white mews houses in a contemporary style. Situated on a quiet cul de sac, it is laid out to take advantage of the Southern aspect.
Some of the features include a passive foundation system from KORE, triple glazed aluminium clad doors and windows, Nibe exhaust air heat recovery that will heat the home and provide hot water as well as providing a complete change of air in the house. LED lighting throughout, as well as a control system that is smart phone enabled to control temperature, hot water, and energy management.
Ecohouse will be documenting the whole project and have updates as the build progresses.
